Nancy is currently a member of the South Orange Planning Board and a liaison to the South Orange Development Committee. Nancy's urban design and planning experience gives her a keen understanding of the issues facing the town's redevelopment. Nancy's experience as the manager of large-scale, multi-million dollar projects and the management of related budgets will surely be a tremendous asset for the Board as South Orange looks to grow and emerge from the global economic crisis.
As a local real estate agent since 2001, Nancy offers unique insight that will help the Board design more effective policies and practices. Nancy has a keen understanding of what attracts residents to South Orange, why they stay, and why they may choose to leave. Her role in this life-changing decision that so many families face has given her a solid grasp as to what makes South Orange great, along with the areas we need to improve.
As president of the Board of Directors of the Playwrights Theater in Madison, NJ, Nancy has an appreciation for the vital role that the arts play in our community. She is responsible for overseeing the organization's budget and fundraising, assuring that the company remains viable. She believes the arts always have been and always will be one of the key drivers for attracting, retaining, and cultivating residents.
Nancy holds an M.S. in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a B.A. from Grinnell College. In addition, she is a regular participant in continuing education classes in real estate to keep abreast of the latest trends, issues and technology.
Nancy lives with her husband Paul and son in Montrose.
